Full-time Research Assistant Position | The Center for Anxiety and Traumatic Stress at the University of Washington | Seattle, WA

The Center for Anxiety and Traumatic Stress at the University of Washington (Seattle, WA) will be hiring a Bachelor’s level research assistant responsible assisting with an NIMH-funded trial examining the efficacy of a brief lay-led intervention addressing war and refugee trauma within the Somali community. The primary purpose of the position is to help facilitate this project. This involves administrative and project assistance roles, specifically facilitating materials and data collection for various agencies and mosques, community events, trainings, and groups. Other duties include submission of Human Subjects and NIMH reports and data management. Preference will be given to candidates who speak Somali and have a research background. The position begins Nov. 1, though negotiable, and is a full-time position with a benefits package and a salary commensurate with education and experience.
