Early Career Colloquium Schedule

Early Career Colloquium

We are now accepting applications for the 2021-2022 Early Career Colloquium. Speakers can nominate themselves or nominate another early career scholar.

The second year of the ECC is especially dedicated to learning from and promoting scientists from historically excluded groups who are about to defend their dissertation (senior doctoral students) or postdoctoral fellows at the early or mid-part of their tenure (1-4 years of postdoctoral experience). One goal of this series is to fill a gap in providing exposure and networking opportunities for early career researchers even before they may be on the job market. Invited speakers will be featured on our website. Honoraria will be provided. Speakers will give a 1-hour seminar with questions and will engage in one-on-one meetings with faculty, students and postdoctoral fellows. For the 2021-2022 academic year, speakers will have the option to present in person or virtually.
